This area is located between the rivers Douro and Minho and still, today preserves the authentic character of the people of the North of Portugal. At the beginning of the day, you will head north always along the coast passing by Vila do Conde, a true fishing harbor where you'll find  Santa Clara Monastery; Póvoa do Varzim and also the famous beaches of the North of Ofir and Esposende. You'll end up in the surprising town of Viana do Castelo with its quaint historical center and one of the most beautiful views in Europe (according to the National Geographic Magazine) from Santa Luzia's Belvedere.

After some free time for a nice lunch break (meal not included) with some of the freshly caught fish of Viana accompanied by some of the refreshing Green Wine of Minho, it's time to continue the exploration of the north of Portugal. The tour will proceed to the town of Ponte de Lima which wealth was generated by the trade of green wine along the banks of the river Lima that is still today crossed by an old Roman bridge.
