Day 1 to day 4– Arrival to Lisbon and car collection at the Airport. Departure towards the Vicentina Coast.

The day you arrive to Lisbon you will pick up your rental car and start driving towards the Vicentina Coast. This protected nature area lies just a short distance from Lisbon but until now it has remained far away from the crowds of the big city. The cliffs and sandy paths that will take you to the amazing beaches protect the landscape in the way that sometimes it will be you, your family, the sand and the ocean and absolutely nothing else. Odeceixe is one village that overlooks one of these beaches where the seagulls and fishermen are still the best friends. For those days where you just want to stay in bed for a little longer then try a late morning swim at the hotels swimming pool. But if you and your family are willing to have fun then you just need to choose between a mountain bike, an off-road vehicle, a canoe or even a horse to explore the surrounding areas.

Three nights’ accommodation at Casa Vicentina (Odeceixe)

"Casa Vicentina is located on Atlantic’s coast in the Natural Park of South-West Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, about 2 km from Odeceixe beach. Day 4 to day 7– Departure to Tavira

The day you leave Odeceixe can be a lot more than just a transfer from one hotel to the other. On the Southwestern most point of Europe go with your family to the impressive Cape of Saint Vincent or even to the famous nautical school of Prince Henry the Navigator in Sagres; go for a walk and stop for lunch at the walled city of Lagos in one of the many fish restaurants and then calmly continue your journey to Tavira where you will arrive at the end of the day. Tavira represents the authentic Algarve not just for the visitors but also for its inhabitants that are proud of its old castle at the top of the hill but especially of the unique triangular shaped roofs that you can see from it. If you're a golfer or want to introduce your family to this sport then you are in the right place to do it since the Algarve boosts some of the best golf courses in the world! On the other hand if you just want to absorb the history and culture of the Southern Europe then Seville is just 1h30 from Tavira with a whole world of Moorish and Spanish presence for you to learn. Of course that the beaches are just 5 minutes away and the swimming pool of the hotel just a short walk from your room.

Day 7 – Departure to Lisbon and overnight at hotel in the city

Today it will be the time to return to the capital of Portugal: Lisbon. If you still want to enjoy the rest of the day exploring the surroundings of the Hotel or just relaxing make sure you leave at least some time to explore Lisbon. Lisbon is a lively European capital where present and past live just side by side. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the largest Aquarium in Europe: the "Oceanário" (your children will be amazed) or to climb up the walls of the Saint George Castle at the top of the highest hill of Lisbon. If you still have time have a look at the area of Belém where hundreds of years of history await you in the monuments that celebrate the Portuguese discoveries of the past.
