The "Leão Holandês" Ship

The history of the "Leão Holandês" starts in 1910, when its initial structure was built. Over the years, this ship had owners from many different nationalities (Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland...) and sailed until Tahiti. For a few years, this vessel stopped sailing and it was forgotten until 1988, when the nowadays' owners took the "Leão Holandês" back to the sea, after making some restoration works: the result is the magnificent ship which we can admire today...

The ship is 35 metres long, 6.2 metres wide and has three masts which carry 10m 2 of sail. The boat has a 230-horsepower diesel engine and all the latest navigational and communications equipment, complying with international safety requirements. The "Leão Holandês" is perfect for those who want to promote an interesting moment for a private group with a maximum of 75 persons.a big variety of events can take place in here,from teambuilndig activities and workshops to thematic parties: if needed, we can even provide catering service on board.
