Self-Drive Tours

Tours For you designed some Self-Drive Itineraries for those travellers who prefer to visit Portugal in an independent way. These are packages including rented car & accommodation solutions, with suggested itineraries and hotels to overnight along your trip. These self-drive tours were designed based on our deep knowledge of Portugal and they have the purpose of being easy to explore by a first-time visitor to Portugal. Although we believe that a map is enough for our clients to discover our country, if you wish we can also add a GPS to your rented car.

We designed two kinds of Self-Drive Tours: one suited for the "Explorer Traveler", who wants to discover as much as possible in his route through Portugal and, another for the "Slow-Pace Traveler" that prefers to stay more time in a wonderful accommodation resting and knowing more deeply a specific region.

Of course that any itinerary can be tailor-made for your specific request, as usual with Tours For You travel advising. We can design a new itinerary for you or, we can also adapt for you each proposed itinerary below. If you prefer an alternative accommodation, we can also change it! Another important advantage of these self-drive tours is that you can change the day itinerary in real time, when you'll be already in Portugal. That's your tour! However, you must have on your mind that you'll always have your accommodation booked for each night and this is where you must end your day. So, you can stop at all proposals in the itinerary but, if you want to skip some sites, just proceed to your final destination on each day.

Regarding your accommodation, we carefully selected two hotel levels for the Explorer Itineraries: both very good but, what we call as Level A is the most charming experience you may find on the area you'll overnight. Level B is a quality hotel for those who wish to spend less but also knows that a comfortable hotel is essential for a memorable holiday. Just browse through our proposals and you'll easily understand our accommodation classification. For the Slow-Pace Itineraries, since the idea is to stay more time and be delighted on each accommodation, there is no reason to offer different hotel levels. Finally, if you need pre and post tour arrangements (more nights accommodation, guided tours, golf, etc) you can also ask us to add to your personalized travel pack. Enjoy our suggestions!
