We are an Incoming Tour Operator and D.M.C. (Destination Management Company) based in Lisbon and specialized in offering charming and quality travel services for each visitor to Portugal. Besides our own operated tours, we are also proud to select the best partners of our market to create and supply a complete travel package.

Our goal is to always provide a quality and upscale service, based on our expertise and local knowledge. This way we'll be sure that we're "Bringing you the charm of Portugal". Therefore, our partners are renowned Portuguese hotels, local guides, restaurants, rent-a-car and larger coach companies, golf courses, each of them, contributing for a complete quality travel package that we organize and present to you with a great pleasure.

But one essential reason for our success is, of course, our team: a carefully selected and experienced staff. You'll find them in the back-office and in the front-end as excellent travel consultants and licensed guides with college degree, conveying to you good-will, professionalism and joyfulness.

We're a Virtuoso On-Site ground operator and an Ensemble Travel Group On-Location to Portugal. We're also a member as well of the ASTA Society (American Society of Travel Agents). The first references are important to give you an instant picture of who Tours For You is, since only the most reliable and top-class companies of each country can be an on-site ground operator for Virtuoso and Ensemble Travel Group, after a long and careful process of admission (by invitation only).

Recently, our General Manager, Mr. Nuno Tavares, was nominated in 2009 and 2010 as a Condé Nast Traveler "TOP Travel Specialist", being one of the few World's 135 TOP travel specialists nominated by this respected magazine (and the only one to Portugal).

Finally, it's important to state that we have license nr. 30/03 as a tourism animation company and license nr. 1259/04 as a tour operator and travel agency, by the Portuguese Tourism Board.

Nuno Tavares, Owner and General Manager. He's an Electronic Engineer and after some years working in the telecommunications field as an engineer, he decided to invest and start his own business. Since he always loved personalized and charming tourism and, enjoyed very much staying far away from the crowds (as a traveller), he decided to create a travel company with this ideal of service, combining also care to detail and a great care with the customer. "I decided to start a company that could design tourism services for clients as discerning as myself. Many people asked me why I've left the engineering field. I always answer that I didn't: I think that the engineer capabilities that I've learnt and developed are important to manage any kind of business and I'm using them here at Tours for You, believe it or not! QoS (Quality of Service) is an important factor in Engineering as it is in Tourism ;-)"
Joana Nogueira, Travel Consultant, Graduated in Tourism - Tourist Information. Tour guide for the passion of travelling and meeting new people and cultures. At the same time she likes to show her own country's tradition, history, culture and beauty. Nuno Correia, Travel Consultant, Graduated in Tourism - Tourist Information. Filipa Teixeira, Travel Consultant, Graduated in Tourism - Tourist Information. She loves Portugal but above all she loves Portuguese food and pastry! She decided to take the degree in tourism to be able to know different cultures trough people. That's what she likes, and that's what with each of her tourist, showing her own country in a very enthusiasic way, always garnished with wonderfull portuguese delicatessen! Adriana Fernandes, Travel Consultant, Graduated in Tourism - Tourist Information, started to walk on a train. Flied for the first time at the age of 5 and the first word spoken was in French. She was born with a passion for traveling and to speak as many foreign languages as possible. She chose tourism because the school had a sea view, the same sea that made her stay and show the most unexpected and surprising curiosities of Portugal. Make those she welcomes experience every scent and taste of Portugal, so special and diversified in each new place, is what makes her happy.
Ana Rodrigues, Travel Consultant, Graduated in Tourism – Tourism Information, and finishing a Master Degree in Tourism Destinations. The passion for tourism starts when she was a young girl, with her father and his culture about the world. Since then, she started to visit castles, monasteries, museums and palaces and was on that time that she decided to study Tourism Information. Now, her priority is to show the most amazing places to visitors, those ones that you cannot find in the guide book, and to pass her knowledge about History to you.
Catarina Tavares, Financial Department - Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering. After working several years on mobile communications in a multinational company, she has decided to trade the numbers of Engineering, for the ones of accounting, at Tours For You.
